Frankfurt (Oder) Germany

Is a town in Brandenburg, Germany, located on the west side of the Oder River, on the Germany-Poland border, about 80 kilometres (50 mi) east of Berlin. Frankfurt’s notable landmarks include the 15th-century Church of St. Mary (Marienkirche), the town hall (remodeled 1607–09), the Church of St. Nicholas (Nikolaikirche), the old university buildings, and the Kleist Museum, which is now a memorial to the poet Heinrich von Kleist and which contains a large library. The city is the seat of the Viadrina European University (founded 1991)
